Alton has served as a Christian teacher since 1997 and was a member of Christian Center Assembly of God for 40 years. He served as CEO in pediatric home health for 18 years and worked in youth inner-city ministry.  Alton currently serves as the Denton Freedom House CEO and has serve as Pastor for Freedom Church Denton since 2019.  Alton and Staci Schmidt have been married since 1997.  They Co-Founded Operation Inspiration, served as CEO and COO of Eleos Community Care, and have partnered in ministry for the past 27 years.  Alton and Staci have two sons, Joseph and Michael who have served at Freedom Church Denton for many years in worship, media and children's church.
