Overcoming 28 years of addiction through the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Doug has been faithfully serving the Lord for over 26 years.  Over 20 years the Lord has sown seeds of salvation through him and his wife to hundreds of inmates in area wide jails and prisons. Married to his wife Nancy for over 38 years, the Lords faithful compassion continues to lead them both to evangelize. Doug has been serving as an Elder with Freedom Church Denton and heading up the Jail and Prison ministry since 2018. Doug worked faithfully for 42 years in the oilfield.  Now in his retirement, he spends many hours helping his widowed mother-in-law as one of her caretakers.
