At Freedom Church Denton, serving our community with compassion and love is at the core of our mission. Our outreach street ministry, "Feeding the Sheep," is dedicated to providing nourishment and support to our homeless neighbors. This heartfelt program not only offers food but also extends a hand of friendship and a message of hope.
"Feeding the Sheep" is woven into the very DNA of Freedom Church Denton. We are deeply committed to making a lasting difference in our community by living out our faith through action and service. This ministry operates weekly, and sometimes even daily, to build genuine relationships with our homeless friends, showing them they are valued and cared for. Additionally, we have a regular presence at the local homeless shelter, where we minister to residents and provide ongoing support and resources. Our dedicated team also ventures into the woods, ditches, and under bridges to reach and minister to the homeless wherever they may be.
A highlight of our ministry is our annual event, "Feed'em Freedom." This special day is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ in a profound and tangible way. We spend the day providing food, clothing, and essential supplies to those in need. Additionally, we offer educational resources and inspirational messages to give hope and empower our community members. Our event also includes worship sessions, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere where everyone can come together in faith and fellowship.
Join us in our mission to make a positive impact in Denton, as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, spreading kindness and fostering a sense of belonging for all. Together, we can make a difference, one meal and one act of kindness at a time.
